A MLES teacher who has a valid Employment Agreement with Maple Leaf and refers a new teacher to Maple Leaf’s Global Recruitment, Marketing and Brand Promotion Office will be awarded a referral bonus paid in the month following the new teacher’s first month of employment with Maple Leaf.
Only qualified teacher candidates will be accepted for the referral bonus program. Detailed requirements are available at the address:
Effective October 31, 2020, referrals must be registered on the MLES Employment web site in order to qualify. The referral must be on file according to the standard template:
A registered referral is valid for the full duration of the referring teacher’s employment with MLES.
Previous employees of Maple Leaf do not qualify as referees and will not receive a referee bonus. If a newly-hired teacher has been referred more than once, the first referrer qualifies for the bonus.
Individuals recorded as previously contacted by Maple Leaf Global Recruitment Office do not qualify. The Director of Maple Leaf’s Global Recruitment, Marketing and Brand Promotion Office has full authority over decisions regarding allocation of referral bonuses.
